Physical mining for gold and other precious elements is still a highly-profitable industry. In some cases, it can also be notoriously corrupt or only available to those with

deep international connections—or deep pockets.

Furthermore, hoarding non-industrial-use minerals means that much of the world’s

mined gold and precious metals goes straight to private bank vaults or national

reserves.

Today, our world requires conventional mining for industrial-use minerals like

Layer 2 is a hard fork of Ethereum, meaning developers at Element have split the

blockchain into a new version that follows new rules. One of these new rules on

layer 2 is the consensus mechanism, using proof of authority. Now, validator nodes

approve transactions, consuming less time and energy than previous methods. It

also processes transactions at a much higher rate. Layer 2 is where algorithmically

generated reward distribution corresponding to identified action(s) associates with

transactions validated on the Element Blockchain.

Element’s first layer is the Ethereum blockchain, the decentralized, open-source

blockchain with smart contract powers. It’s where Element’s ERC-20 token

ELEMENT will live. Proof-of-stake (PoS) now underlies Ethereum’s consensus mechanism, because it is more secure, less energy intensive, and better for implementing

new scaling and layering solutions.

On this layer, an immutable ledger operating with distributed nodes confirms user

actions. Element’s community does this in the real world: contributing to environmental

reclamation projects, supporting exploited communities, and stopping harmful mining

practices. These action points can be converted to Element Digital Rewards.

On top of these blockchain layers, we are building the Element ecosystem. That

ELEMENT Digital Rewards are generated by the blockchain and are cryptographically secured. Element Nodes earn these rewards by supporting and confirming

transactions in the ecosystem of digitized mining.

ELEMENT Digital Rewards can also be earned by playing the Element Game.

Element United will soon launch Gold Crew Atlas (GCA) to develop NFTs and a game

that works within the Element digital economy. This collection and game will create

gamification around Element United Committed mines and bring a larger audience to

the Element mission.

This awareness will provide utility for the Element blockchain, give back to those

affected by unsafe mining practices, and reward our Node and NFT holders and

players of our game.

Element United will be releasing multiple NFT collections. Each collection will utilize

information from real world mines and their 43-101 reports (Standards of Disclosure

for Mineral Projects).

The GCA Genesis Collection is a PFP Utility NFT. It will look great, has rarity attributes based on an Element United committed mine, gives back to communities hurt

by poor mining practices via mint day earnings and royalties, will integrate within the

GCA game, and provide rewards to NFT holders.

The GCA Genesis Collection will be launching in Q1 2023. There is an exclusive

Element United’s marketplace is where users will come to exchange and use their

Element Digital Rewards.

The initial phases of the marketplace will look and act very similar to a standard

shopping cart experience. The marketplace will continue to grow and expand with

our products and technology, and Phase 2 and 3 is where it will become a fully-integrated digital experience.

The Marketplace will allow users to purchase paraphernalia such as t-shirts, hats, and

Element branded accessories using Element Digital Rewards, USD, and other cryptos.

The Marketplace will achieve full functionality, with the technological power necessary to allow users to exchange their digital assets, including Element Digital

Rewards. Users running Element Nodes will significantly benefit from this feature

since it will allow them to easily exchange their Element Digital Rewards for ethically-mined real gold and silver.

The Marketplace will incorporate the digital assets of our entertainment platforms

First, mining companies that employ slave labor, child labor, unsafe working conditions, or any other human exploitation must be stopped. The Element Certification

Process ensures that mining operations do not engage in these dangerous and

unhealthy conditions.

When a mine commits to Element Certification, they must comply with specific

anti-exploitation safeguard requirements for all of their workers and a commit to

“give back” initiatives supporting local communities.

Second, when a mine commits its assayed assets to the blockchain and stops

mining, we create new digital economies around these mines through NFT and playto-earn games.

These NFTs will be representative of the communities near the mines. For example,

if a mine in Ghana commits to stop mining, the NFT collection created to represent

that mine would reflect the surrounding community, including local animals, the surrounding environment, and the Ghanaian people themselves.

The games will also mirror the attributes of the original mine (environmental factors,

location, gold quantity, location, and more.). A portion of the NFT and game revenue

will be allocated to these communities through reclamation projects, employment
