Bitcoin Forum is a community of developers, academics, and entrepreneurs dedicated to the discussion, education, and promotion of cryptocurrencies. They strongly believe in cryptocurrency as the future of money and that a free exchange of ideas is the only way for us to see that future.

The site is very easy to navigate and sign up with. Overall, my experience was very friendly and simple.
Here you’ll find a little information here and there, but this forum is not nearly as active as a few others. At the time of writing, there is 4850 members, but the forum seems to have had its peak in late 2017. There are 30 members online when I last visited.

The forum claims to have zero censorship and no BS. (Not sure how they plan to make that work. If you think about it, having no BS requires moderators to shut down spammers, scammers, etc. That means they have some form of censorship).

Topics include:
Bitcoin Discussion
Economics and Policy
Cryptocurrency, Tokens, and Altcoins
Bitcoin Protocol
Bitcoin Apps
Mining Forums
Meetups and Events
International section
Chit-Chat
Forum based chat

Pros & Cons
  • Seems to be a healthy range of newbies and knowledgeable individuals.
  • A decent amount of activity and people are still online, using the forums to converse.
  • International language section is active.
  • It says no BS, however, there are definitely some shillers, paid marketers, and even potential scammers lurking in their midst. Reads beware. Always do your own research!
